Generally I do have much better things to do than get involved with Evan and to be honest I don’t even read his blogs once I started to see him for what he is.
But it doesn’t stop him harassing others and although he takes the site name as if interested in the “sexpats of the Philippines” the latest one about Paul Petrea is probably the one that is more truthful.
Because I did send over to him old information about some real sexpats to see if he would publish something and not one thing appeared. Simply because he has a bee in his bonnet about Paul Petrea and several other people nothing to do with catching sexpats or anything else constructive.
But this gets me to the issue of obsession and selective targeting as many people he harassed have done very little to become a target except knowing for example Paul Petrea.
What this results in is good old Evan writing lies about people all over the web then starts linking to things he made up himself under false names. Yes he really is that mad. He actually writes the things then starts saying “look at what these people said”. Same as commenting on his own blogs, if you need this much justification you need to get out more.
This is what made finding the truth out extremely difficult as sifting through the lies and speculative nonsense took a lot of time on top of that what if he got banned from sites?
Well Evan doesn’t take no for an answer his obsession drives him to setup other peoples sites inside an iFrame so he can still view them from his server but generally on pages he doesn’t link to on his blogs why? Because he doesn’t want people knowing he’s doing it. He can’t take the fact that people have already booted him for being an abusive internet troll with a compulsive ability to lie and speculate. He needs to know what your doing and so he uses his server’s IP to hide behind to keep viewing sites that he’s been kicked from. Obviously just stalking rather than posting as he can’t log in.
Sad really and more importantly he’s made up more stories than Charles Dickens in his attempts to derail peoples lives in the Philippines. For what?
Has any of the people he’s been harassing been arrested and deported? Have any of them actually had problems because of Evan? Answer to that is they have had problems because of what they do themselves and what they did to each other. Evan’s only part in this is generating nonsense to the point its just dropped a lot of good people off the internet who are unconnected with the disputes.
But what if you’ve nothing to hide? Point is most people don’t but they also well aware of how Evan lies about things and going online isn’t worth the hassles. Congratulations Evan you’ve removed a lot of normal people from the net and where is your Paul Petrea? is he jailed? is he deported to the U.S? Answer to these questions and more is no. The fact is forcing a lot of good people off the web also means you leave behind many who are bad news and the sort of stereotypes that are a blight of the expat community. Or those who are willing to say get lost Evan and go get a hobby.
You can add a piece of code into your site that will stop Evan’s iFrame’s of your sites by the way. Just google around the web and it takes about a minute to install. Would also advise filing a complaint against Evan’s blog for doing it as its classed as a Cyber Attack as he’s generating static pages from your content. Duplicate content is something that search engines don’t like and even worse when this troll is using it to find things to complain about.
